Hubris: Album Art for Akroasis

Full album art I made for the Swiss metal band Akroasis. This is their second album, Hubris, and my second time working with them as well. You can see part of my work for the first album ("Ilion") here.

As the first one, Hubris is also a Greek-mythology-inspired conceptual album. Hubris is a concept from ancient Greece that means excessive pride or arrogance, often leading to shame or punishment for the person defying the gods.

The album's lyrics explore various stories related to hubris. For the artwork, we opted to highlight Niobe's tragic story.

In terms of design, the project comprised creating the entire art for both digipak and vinyl editions, including the different inner panels and the booklets.
